Districted Space. Beginning.

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹

We are the Pipka team - a team of 3D-animators and game developers with 3 years of experience in freelance.

We've been making the game in UE4 for a while. Now the prototype of the game is ready and we have something to share.

This game is called Districted Space. It is unique multiplayer turn-based economic strategy. But what unique in this? You can play full time without waiting for another player's turn because of a timer in the game which shows how much time do players have until the end of the turn. And then all players will see the result of their choices as captured or lost territories and units.

In the game, players will have to capture territories with the help of purchased units. Each territory has its own number of two types of currency:

1) The first currency is money. For money, we buy and improve units.

2) The second currency is points. The player with the most points wins in the end.

There are also special landing areas on the map. At any point in the game, even a player without territories can attack a landing. The strongest unit wins the battle for the territory. Therefore, as the game progresses, the player will have to not only attack enemies, but also defend his borders/landings.

At the moment there is only one map in the game - Frozen Expanse. The plans include adding more game maps, changing interfaces, adding animations, game chat, a list of players in the match, as well as completing the game with currency added to accounts.

There are also some ideas that we don't really understand if they should be added to the game, such as voice chat, as well as lowering the graphics. The graphics are quite beautiful right now, but we think that players may have problems with this. Perhaps you can advise something on these or other issues?

Write it in the comments, please. And also subscribe, because we will try to keep you up to date with the development!

The game will be released on Steam on September 1 (approximately).
